After playing build 0848 and 0851 for a week, TA-DA!! I'd like to try promoting Mice players to choose and upgrade attack damages, as much as players upgrade their armor and shield. I often find players focusing too much on armor/shield and they haven't thought about how they're going to kill cat.
Remember, Mice team's goal is to KILL THE CAT, surviving is only part of that goal.
As such, I'm introducing the following balance changes and fixes. Let's see how these stick!

Classic 2.017 BETA build 0852 - October 30, 2017
- fixed issues that Mice cannot build 'Cloud' (Battle Cruisers) because required buildings were not made available to build
- (balance) enabled Mice to upgrade Cloud and Rain's attack. Mineral cost $25 + 8, time cost 50 secs + 7, max level 100
- (balance) decreased Protoss Ground attack upgrade base time cost from 50 secs to 25 secs
- (balance) decreased Terran Infantry attack upgrade base time cost from 50 secs to 25 secs
- (balance) decreased Scarab Damage upgrade base time cost from 60 secs to 25 secs
- (balance) decreased Chooser (Dark Templar)'s mineral cost from $100 to $50
- (balance) decreased Alex (Zealot)'s mineral cost from $150 to $125 to match with the price at top-right island.
- (balance) added additional triggers to prevent accidental Mouse Magnet purchases
- re-organized Mice top-right island to look similar to the Cat's island.
- enabled Broken Ball (Science Vessel) to be built at Starport.

Just wanted to stop by and show my support. Random CnM is hands down my favorite game. I can play this all day and it's just a bummer that more people don't play it. Glad to see you're back!

Thank you very much James. It was a pleasant surprise for me to find that people still play Classic and Classic 2 when I returned from SC2 to SCR. This was the push for me to re-create this forum, try to gather a community, and have some fun.
I noticed the number of players on bnet in US East and West are just way too low compare to the good old days, especially US East with less than 1000 players most of the time. So yeah, a huge bummer! What I also noticed is some good/exploits being a lost art, such as consecutive maelstorm in Classic, pylon-micro, fastest-map-style restore minerals trick... But one good thing I see is that a lot of people who play CnM are newbs, meaning we do have some new people playing BW and that's always a good sign for the game that "it's not dying, not at all!"
Let's get together and play some time.
