Happy New Year!! Hope everyone had fun during this Christmas week! I had some long-awaited rest too, so finally get to work on this when things have dialed down a bit.
I have had a long chat with TrueFang further to his suggestions, which gave me a lot to think about. I did notice the popularity of two mods in the community - vMT and vM9, made by TrueFang and m.0.n.3.y, and TrueFang brought some useful thoughts to my attention. Although I'm not yet porting all the community-mod changes into my version, below are some of the good ones that you guys are already enjoying in the mods.
As always, let me know if you have any suggestions or feedback. Also, please report any bugs here, as some of the changes are relatively big under the hood and aren't that much tested.

Classic 2.018 BETA build 0860 - January 1, 2018
- (balance) increased Cat's base feed, from $26 with 3 Mice players, to $32. (Calculation - old: $32 - # of Mice x 2, new: $44 - # of Mice x 4)
- (balance) Mice team now gets the same periodic feed as Cat does.
- (balance) increased Lieutenant Ryan (Jim Raynor Marine)'s HP from 13 to 15, decreased base attack from 18 to 12.
- (balance) decreased Super Saiyan Alex (Fenix Zealot)'s base attack from 40 to 22 (to match with Alex).
- (balance) enabled Burrowing for Cat Toy (Hydralisk)
- (experimental idea) Jail Guards (Sunken) spawned when Mice (Probe) is nearby will cause both Mice and Jail Guards to be invincible! This is to prevent Mice to be killed when being saved. IT IS CURRENTLY DISABLED IN THIS BUILD.
Thanks for the feedback from TrueFang, below are the changes based on your feedback:
- enabled Defensive Matrix (thought I enabled it before... my bad!)
- (balance) increased Mice save reward from $25 to $75
- (balance) decreased Jail Guard's armor from 20 to 19 to ensure Mice (Probe) can 1-hit kill it.
- added prompts telling Mice players why they cannot save other Mice players when being on the beacon.
- Mouse Magnet's icon is changed from a moving Hydralisk to a Data Disc and a moving Mice (Probe), hopefully it clears up confusion.
- (balance) increased Cat Overlord's HP from 200 to 3500

Here's vT1 Alpha 5 for people who like to play with a No-Fly Zone and Sunken Timer. (based on b860)
Personally I believe the 5 minute delay on the sunken is more fun than invincibility.
I also fixed bugs related to the cannot save message and random dropping.

BTW I still cannot attach maps directly to my post. Says my storage limit of 0 has been exceeded.

If you were trying to upload the scx file here, try uploading the zip file instead.
